The active ingredients work their way to the surface of the collar and are rubbed onto the fur of the dog. The active ingredients move through the oils and from hair to hair to cover the entire body. For continuous flea and tick protection, replace the collar every 7 months. This collar provides on-the-go flea and tick control 24/7 and will continue to work even when wet.

Q: How do I apply flea and tick collars?
A: Place collar around pet’s neck, adjust for fit, and buckle in place. The collar must be worn loosely to allow for growth of the pet and to permit the collar to move about the neck. However, the collar should not be so loose that it can be bitten or chewed by the pet wearing it. Leave 2-3 inches for extra adjustment. Cut off and dispose of excess length.
